This is a $1,000 college scholarship, to be offered annually. It will be disbursed in two $500 installments, with the first one at the beginning of the first semester/term enrolled. To qualify for the disbursement, the winner must provide proof of enrollment to the FACC. The scholarship monies will be disbursed directly to the college.
Application requirements:
- Minimum high school GPA of 2.25
- Must be a graduate of one of the following high schools:
- Arlington
- Blair
- Cedar Bluffs
- Elkhorn HS
- Elkhorn South HS
- Fremont
- Fremont Bergan
- Ft. Calhoun
- Logan View
- Mead
- North Bend
- Valley – Douglas County West
- Wahoo – Bishop Neumann
- Wahoo HS
- Yutan
- Must enroll in a program that is directly related to the automotive industry.

- Must be a graduating high school senior.
- Must attend an accredited college or community college in Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, or Wyoming.
- Must appear at a regular meeting of the FACC to give a presentation about their college studies, goals, and progress prior to receiving the second installment of $500.
- The application form will include standard questions about the applicant, addressing the minimum requirements stated above; plus a short essay describing the applicant’s career goals, and reason for choosing their field of study.
